Universal messaging, with you at its core.
We are hard at work experimenting, and finding the best way to build Uplink and Warp, our chat app and interface-driven, distributed data service. Our goal is to build a communication platform that give you peace of mind with end-to-end encryption, without sacrificing quality. Being peer-to-peer, your only limit is your network own connection.
Learn More about Uplink
Uplink is our chat app, utilizing Warp, which uses technologies like IPFS/libp2p and public key cryptography. It's the UI layer on top of Warp and it's built to make sure you are in control of your data. No trackers! It's a work in progress, but we are providing rolling updates.
Check out Warp!
Plug and Play for chat! Warp is our interface-first, platform agnostic, peer-driven architecture, distributed, encrypted data service. Phew. What a mouthful. Breaking it down we wanted a core spec that would define all of the features of our chat app that would work across platforms. And of course the actual implementation of that spec had to be as fast possible. So we chose a low level language, Rust, that happens to also compile across platforms (thanks LLVM!), including the web. Think of Warp as the 'back end' in a world where there are no back ends!
